Break Free From IBS-D

IBS

Is diarrhoea preventing you from eating out, going to the cinema, playing sports, travelling and more? Try drug-free Enterosgel – it’s a game-changer for your gut!

IBS can restrict almost every aspect of your social life. Going out for a meal, a movie, a workout at the gym – even meeting a friend for coffee – are all ‘out-of-bounds’ for many sufferers. However, on the back of some very favourable research, we ask if Enterosgel is – finally – a treatment for diarrhoea that actually works…

It is estimated that up to one in five people in the UK will develop Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) at some stage in their lifetime. Affecting sufferers in various ways – with abdominal pain, bloating and bouts of diarrhoea or constipation among the most common symptoms – IBS can be a source of great discomfort, embarrassment and
unhappiness, turning everything from everyday tasks to family holidays into a real struggle.

It is widely accepted by gastroenterologists that – in patients with IBS-D – the cause of diarrhoea is complex and probably includes immune activation, changes to the gut microbiome, increased secretion in the gut and, in some
patients, bile salt malabsorption.

The molecules associated with these processes include immune proteins, bacterial toxins and breakdown products, fat molecules and bile acids, and these can all contribute to diarrhoea symptoms.

All these molecules are potential targets for Enterosgel to bind and remove from the body, which could help alleviate IBS-D symptoms.

Enterosgel is an oral intestinal adsorbent, based on an organic mineral with adsorption capacity towards some toxic and harmful substances in the gut (e.g. endotoxins, enterotoxins).

Enterosgel physically binds them to its surface, reducing stool frequency and the duration of diarrhoea. Enterosgel is expelled from the body with the stool, this way eliminating the adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which can be beneficial for the treatment of indicated conditions of acute and chronic diarrhoea.

DRUG-FREE

Enterosgel has been available as an antidiarrhoeal drug-free treatment in Europe for more than 20 years and has an excellent safety record in children and adults with no reports of adverse events.

Registered in the UK as a Class IIA medical device, Enterosgel is available over-the-counter in 30 countries worldwide. Intestinal adsorbents have been known since ancient times and are used to treat gastrointestinal disorders, including poisoning, by removing toxins of harmful bacteria from the gut. Such adsorbents (activated charcoal, clay) are well known and available over the counter.

Enterosgel is a new generation of intestinal adsorbents and has many unique properties. It is gentle on the gut, completely non-allergenic, has no additives or preservatives and can be used long term without side effects by almost
everyone including patients with compromised gut lesions, diabetes, allergies, coeliac disease or other chronic conditions.

Enterosgel has a jelly-like consistency and it is easy to take mixed in water, it is free from sugar, gluten, taste and colour.

UNIVERSITY RESEARCH PROVES ENTEROSGEL WORKS

Enterosgel is taking part in major research in the UK, with one in-vitro study just completed at the School of
Pharmacy & Biomolecular Sciences, University of Brighton. The study has proven that Enterosgel can adsorb
bacterial toxins produced by E.coli, Shigella and C.diffi cile – common causes of gastrointestinal disorders.

Good to know if you travel to countries with a high risk of traveller’s’ diarrhoea where you are more likely to be exposed to such harmful bacteria.

Another clinical study published at the National Cancer Research Institute Conference has shown Enterosgel
can effectively reduce diarrhoea and nausea after radiotherapy in patients with uterine and cervical cancer. One
cancer patient, Barbara from Cheshire, says: “Enterosgel has practically cured [my] diarrhoea…It’s brilliant! Now I’m
not so worried about going out to eat – I’m very pleased with the results and I recommend it to friends and family.”

“I know I can take one dose of Enterosgel in the morning and it settles everything. I now only use Enterosgel…nothing else. I love that Enterosgel is not a drug and I believe it could help so many others just like me!”
