There are many different causes of diarrhoea, but a bowel infection – gastroenteritis – is a common cause in both adults and children.
Gastroenteritis can be caused by viruses – such as norovirus or rotavirus, or bacteria – such as campylobacter and Escherichia coli (E. coli), which are often picked up from contaminated food. These infections can sometimes be caught during travel abroad, particularly to areas with poor standards of public hygiene. This is known as travellers’ diarrhoea. Diarrhoea can also be the result of anxiety, a food allergy, medication, or a long-term condition, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
ENTEROSGEL is a drug-free product. It is an innovative intestinal adsorbent, which means it attracts other particles to its surface. The unique ENTEROSGEL porous molecules are scientifically developed to adsorb endotoxins and toxins of pathogenic bacteria in the gut, not attaching such important substances like vitamin B12.
ENTEROSGEL is suitable for children and adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. In case of diarrhoea it is important to stay hydrated especially in cases with children. For children under three it is important to get the doctors advise before taking any medications. It is important to speak to your GP or midwife if you are unwell during pregnancy.
ENTEROSGEL is composed of organic minerals, free from preservatives, sugar and gluten and does not contain any allergic or toxic substances. It is drug free and can be taken in conjunction with any medications. Take ENTEROSGEL 1-2 hours before or after taking other medications.
